• Things are small in fullscreen?!? NdaFormus Posts: 5 New Member. January 2016 in PC / Mac - Bugs & Gameplay Issues. Yesterday, I was playing The Sims 4 and tried playing in windowed mode. Now today, I tried playing The Sims 4 and resetting the game to fullscreen and everything remained small! Letters, the UI, the mouse, EVERYTHING is still.

May 18, 2008  Games only open in a small window on my laptop screen. I don't have a small screen when starting up so it doesn't appear to be a BIOS issue, and although I've tried different display options.

  Shut down your computer completely. Start the computer again, then launch the game and see if that helps.
  If the issue remains, try resetting your sims 4 folder and see if that helps. To do that, move your sims 4 folder ( that is in Documents -Electronic Arts - then the sims 4 folder is there ) to the desktop. Then start the game, and a new sims 4 folder will be generated. Exit the game and then add back the 'options.ini' file and the 'saves' , 'screenshots' 'tray' 'custom music ' and 'mods' folders from the desktop sims 4 folder to the new sims 4 folder, replacing the new generated file/ folders with the old file/folders.

  Check in game options that you haven't altered the resolution and caused the issue with everything appearing small.
  Also, you won't lose your save games and sims/builds that you have uploaded to your library if you ever need to uninstall and reinstall your game. It is always wise though to make a back up copy of your sims 4 folder and place it on an external drive or another part of your computer before uninstalling. This link explains about backups.

• @rosemow Should dragging the old Sims 4 file into the new one and replacing files have worked, too? I think I might've messed up 'cause that's what I did and everything is small again..

  The old sims 4 folder doesn't go into the new sims 4 folder. It is only the individual old saves, tray, mods, custom music and screenshots folders that are placed into the new sims 4 folder, to replace the newly generated ones.

So about a year ago, my computer crashed on me. Luckily i backed up my computer and was able to restore my iPhoto library. When i uploaded my library today, i noticed my photos were very much smaller than normal. Now, all the photos that are much smaller, were on my old iPhone 4. So all those pictures are 270 x 360. I then purchased a iPhone 5, and all my photos that were imported after i bought the phone are way bigger, full resolution.
